Buddy Media is a high-energy and rapidly growing media company that develops social branded applications for fortune 500 companies.
We are looking for a part-time, paid Information Technology (IT) Intern who will assist the Manager of Infrastructure Operations with end-user support. This internship is an opportunity to gain valuable, practical "hands-on" training and experience working with IT professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with resolving end user issues for management and staff
Set up new computers including both Macs and PCs
Configure and deploy hardware
Install software
Run wiring and network cabling as directed
Opportunity to learn Linux and webserver technologies
Report to the Manager of Infrastructure Operations
Requirements:
Majoring in Computer Science or Information Technology
Experienced in Windows and Mac
Knowledge of Linux a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skill
Proven time management and follow-through skills
High integrity, trustworthiness and ethical standards
A positive attitude and a desire to further your current skill set
The IT Intern will be a member of the Technology team, and will be managed by the Manager of Infrastructure Operations.
Compensation: $10/hr
